If excision of the glandular tissue and skin is needed, an incision will then be made on the breasts to remove excess glandular tissues and skin. What can patients expect after treatment for gynecomastia?

Patients are often well enough to go to work and resume their normal day-to-day activities approximately three to five days after undergoing male breast reduction surgery.
