Understanding a HydraFacial MD

Prior to a HydraFacial MD procedure, one of the Aesthetics by Design aestheticians will do an in-depth skin evaluation to better understand your unique skin care needs and to tailor the HydraFacial MD® treatment to address your specific concerns. The wonderful thing about a HydraFacial MD® is that it is a multi-step procedure that cleanses, evenly exfoliates and extracts to remove impurities and dead skin calls all in one 45-minute treatment. The HydraFacial MD® will replenish vital nutrients lost by everyday environmental damage including antioxidants, peptides and hylauronic acid. You will leave with plump and firmer skin. HydraFacial MD is a four-step process all completed by the utilization of one amazing machine.

Hydrafacial: A four step Process

Step 1: Cleaning + Exfoliation

The first step involves cleansing and exfoliation. Using the wand, dead skin cells are removed to review healthy new skin.

Step 2: Chemical Acid Peel

Once exfoliated, a gentle acid peel helps to loosen dirt and debris from pores without irritation. This step is completely painless, as are all aspects of this highly effective procedure.

Step 3: Extraction

Having carefully exfoliated the skin, painless, automated extractions are performed using vacuum suction to gently draw out impurities.

Step 4: Hydration

When the extraction process is complete, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid are vortex-fused to nourish and protect the skin. Finally, when the procedure is complete, a soothing moisturizer is applied, along with a protective sunscreen.

Signature HydraFacial

Duration: ~30 minutes
Includes: Deep cleanse, gentle exfoliation, painless extractions, and hydration with antioxidant rich serums.
Best for: Regular maintenance, first timers, or anyone looking to restore a healthy skin glow.

Deluxe HydraFacial

Duration: ~45 minutes
Includes: All the steps of the Signature HydraFacial, plus a customized booster serum targeted to your skin concerns (pigmentation, fine lines, or redness), and LED light therapy to reduce inflammation and promote collagen.
Best for: Mild skin concerns or those seeking a more customized treatment.

Platinum HydraFacial

Duration: ~60 minutes
Includes: Lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness and support circulation, followed by the full Deluxe treatment with booster and LED therapy.
Best for: Comprehensive skin support, detoxification, or prepping the skin before an event or procedure.

Consistency Matters

HydraFacial can be done as a one-time refresh, but results are best maintained with regular treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart.
